The 9th Regional Energy Forum - FOREN 2008, with the main theme „Regional Energy Policy. Working Together. Next Steps” will take place in Neptun-Olimp, between 15-19 June 2008.

The event is organised by the WEC Romanian National Committee, under the auspices of the World Energy Council (WEC).

The last edition of the Regional Energy Forum - FOREN 2006 was attended by more than 1000 participants which took part in a lively exchange of knowledge, experience and opinions with a focus on energy industry. Based on the success of the previous edition, FOREN 2008 has adopted the slogan “Policies and actions to promote energy for sustainability”. This slogan recognized that now there is time to move into action, applying the outcomes of ideas and technologies which have been developed up to now.

The forum will be an inspiring reunion of leading energy, innovators, engineers, developers, regulators, investors and other leaders in the all energy industry from Romania, SE Europe and the rest of Europe.
